Ada beberapa alasan umum mengapa Anda mungkin tidak dapat terhubung dengan sukses melalui FTP.
- Pastikan Anda menggunakan nama host yang benar
Jika Anda belum mengalihkan server nama untuk menunjuk ke IT Center ID, Anda harus menggunakan nama host yang berbeda untuk terhubung melalui FTP:
- Untuk Linux dan Windows, Anda dapat menggunakan: ftp.itcenter.id
- Untuk WordPress Anda dapat menggunakan: wordpressftp.yourdomain.com
- Pastikan Anda memiliki catatan DNS FTP
Jika Anda telah membuat perubahan DNS, Anda perlu memastikan bahwa Anda memiliki CNAME dari:
ftp.yourdomain.com -> CNAME -> ftp.itcenter.id (atau wordpressftp.yourdomain.com di platform WordPress).
Tanpa CNAME ini Anda tidak akan dapat terhubung menggunakan ftp.yourdomain.com.
Harap dicatat bahwa perubahan DNS dapat memakan waktu sekitar 1 jam untuk menyebar.
- Pastikan FTP tidak terkunci
Di IT Center ID kami menggunakan sistem kunci FTP untuk memastikan FTP hanya dapat diakses bila diperlukan yang sangat mengurangi risiko kompromi ke paket hosting. Anda harus memastikan ini tidak terkunci untuk terhubung melalui FTP, untuk melakukan ini:
- Login ke https://my.itcenter.id
- Pilih paket hosting yang ingin Anda buka FTP-nya dari Manage Hosting
- Anda kemudian dapat memilih untuk membuka kunci FTP berdasarkan waktu, atau dengan alamat IP tertentu.
Ketika FTP telah dibuka, Anda akan diperlihatkan waktu buka kunci kedaluwarsa dan opsi untuk menguncinya lagi.
- Gunakan kata sandi yang benar
Pastikan Anda menggunakan kata sandi yang benar! Anda harus menggunakan kata sandi yang terletak di bagian Detail FTP dari paket.
I can't connect via FTP, what can I do?
There are a few common reasons why you may not be able to connect successfully via FTP.
- Make sure you're using the correct hostname
If you’ve not switched the nameservers to point to IT Center ID, you’ll need to use a different hostname to connect via FTP:
- For Linux and Windows, you can use: ftp.itcenter.id
- For WordPress you can use: wordpressftp.yourdomain.com
- Make sure you have the FTP DNS record
If you’ve made any DNS changes you need to make sure that you have a CNAME from:
ftp.yourdomain.com -> CNAME -> ftp.itcenter.id (or wordpressftp.yourdomain.com on the WordPress platform).
Without this CNAME you won’t be able to connect using ftp.yourdomain.com.
Please note DNS changes can take roughly 1 hour to propagate.
- Make sure FTP is unlocked
At IT Center ID we utilise an FTP lock system to ensure FTP can only be accessed when required which greatly reduces the risk of compromise to a hosting package. You'll need to make sure this is unlocked to connect via FTP, to do this:
- Login to https://my.itcenter.id
- Select the hosting package you want to unlock FTP for from Manage Hosting
- You can then select to unlock FTP by time, or by a specific IP address.
When FTP has been unlocked you'll be shown the time the unlock expires and the option to lock it again.
- Use the correct password
Make sure you are using the correct password! You’ll need to use the password that is located within the FTP Details section of the package.
